SENIOR SCIENTIST
BIOANALYTICAL DEVELOPMENT
BioAssay Mission Statement:
This position is within the Bioanalytical Development group which develops, validates, and transfers analytical methods used for characterization of protein therapeutics. Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to lead a group in development of bioassays, binding ELISAs, and Biacore methods. In addition, the qualified candidate will oversee testing of clinical materials using these methods as well as other standard analytical tools (i.e. gel electrophoresis, HPLC, etc.). You will be a critical member of multi-disciplinary project team. Basic Requirements:
PhD in Biochemistry, Cell biology, or Protein Chemistry and 5-10 years experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry including development and validation of cell based bioassays. Previous supervisory experience is required. Preferred:
Experience in seeing a drug through the approval process, as well as transferring bioassays to Quality Control groups is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills preferred.
